We have compiled the answers to some frequently asked questions below. If you cannot find your question below, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.

At Click A Tree, all prices are practically “all inclusive”.

That means we take care of everything: the bureaucracy and the permits. The planning of the most sensible composition of different tree species, the procurement and sorting of the seeds and, of course, the planting in the nursery and planting out in the field.

We guarantee that the trees will survive for at least 3 years and will replace any trees that do not reach this age free of charge. Planting a tree with Click A Tree means planting a tree that stays.

In addition, our prices include fair payment for all those involved. We do not work with volunteers because we a) Create jobs, full-time incomes and thus better living conditions for local communities. And b) these municipalities will lovingly take care of the preservation of trees and forests – as long as they are paid fairly for it.

If sustainable, then holistically sustainable, we think.

Making your company more sustainable is much easier than you think.

For example, you can plant a tree for every product sold, collect one kilogram of plastic from the ocean for every customer, create jobs abroad to thank your employees for their loyalty or support educational projects in the spirit of “Let them know it’s Christmas time” as truly meaningful gifts for loyal customers and business partners.
Click A Tree makes all of this possible and implements the projects in a way that really makes sense for all parties involved.

This means, of course, that sustainability projects are thought through and organized effectively in the long term, but also that you and your company benefit from this sustainable commitment.

It is only truly holistically sustainable if all parties involved benefit. And only then can it work in the long term.

The costs of Click A Tree are limited exclusively to the actual effect to be achieved. There are no basic costs, fixed costs, set-up fees or running costs.

Whenever you want to plant a tree for your company, for example, this tree is billed.
Billing always takes place afterwards. This means, for example, that if you plant a tree for every product you sell, you always sell your product first and then plant the tree.

You never have to pay in advance and therefore bear no risk.

In our opinion, we should all feel an obligation to our planet to preserve it – after all, it provides us with our livelihood.

Nevertheless, there is no obligation for you in your cooperation with Click A Tree. You decide when you want to plant how many trees and for what purpose. And if that means that you want to take a break from working together – for whatever reason – then that’s the way it is and we’ll accept that.

After all, a sustainability solution must suit you and your business. It should be simple and offer you added value – otherwise a long-term cooperation won’t work. And when your circumstances change, Click A Tree simply changes with them.

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” So says a Chinese proverb. (Fun fact: Did you know that the Chinese are world champions in reforestation?)

That’s exactly how it is with our collaboration: you can start at any time – and ideally we’ll take the first step now. For example, write us a short e-mail to let us know that you are interested. Then we can discuss further details when the opportunity arises.

The implementation of Click A Tree is sensationally simple. Within two minutes you are ready to go and can get started. So even if you’re looking for a short-term option to become more sustainable (e.g. last-minute giveaways for a trade fair or effective gifts for your team), you’ve come to the right place.

This is of course possible. As with most things in life, there are cheap and more expensive types of trees. The latter are more difficult to obtain, require more care and/or need more time to grow.

It also makes a difference whether you use the trees, e.g. for fruit plantations, or whether you create a self-sufficient forest. The latter offers animals a place to live, but of course costs more money, as the local communities cannot benefit financially from it.

At Click A Tree we always plant diversified forests. In this way, we create natural ecosystems that can survive on their own in the long term. In this way we create habitat for animals, but at the same time diversified forests are best prepared for the challenges of climate change.
So we calculate how many cheap and how many more expensive trees we need and calculate an average price from this. This is the only way to create a diversified ecosystem.
Another option to save costs would be to hire volunteer labor instead of paying tree planters fair full-time salaries.

However, we believe that if we are already committed to sustainability, we might as well do it properly. Only if we make a holistic, sustainable commitment will everyone really benefit from it.

That makes sense, doesn’t it?

Unfortunately not. Depending on the region and local conditions, between 80 – 95 % of the trees planted survive.
We replace all trees that do not survive the first three years – at no extra cost to you. When we talk about planting a tree, we always mean “a tree that survives”.

A tree uses an area of approximately 1-4 square meters, depending on the species.

Take a look at our Impact page to see how many trees we have already been able to plant thanks to your support – then you will know how much area we have already reforested.

The more people who take part, the better.

A good idea in principle. However, we pursue a different philosophy. We want to create jobs for people who really need them.

On the one hand, this makes for a fairer world (we support all 17 Sustainable Development Goals!), and on the other hand, local communities naturally guard “their” forests much more carefully.
