It’s that time again, the Grow Show for Q2 2022 is here! It’s amazing how time flies and that we had such incredibly committed people and partners at our side again this quarter. Thank you all so much for your commitment!
But let’s not keep you in suspense any longer. In the following video, our founder Chris tells you how many trees we were able to plant thanks to your help and whether there was any growth compared to the previous quarter:

How many trees did we plant in Q2 2022?
We were able to plant a total of 8605 trees – tree-tastic, right? At a time when we sometimes have to actively search for good news, it is all the more valuable to draw positive energy from the positive changes that we have brought about together.
Because more trees also mean secure jobs with a steady income, more habitat for animals and also more shade, which we really need right now.
Isn’t this really excellent good news among all the bad news we receive every day?
Where were the trees planted
We are currently planting trees in 3 special project countries. Our absolute hit this quarter was the project in Ghana. You can now find out how many trees were planted there and in our other projects.
Philippines
We plant mangrove trees in the Philippines. They form a unique ecosystem and habitat for many animal species. What is special about this project is that not only were 2,307 trees planted, but also 2,307 kg of plastic were removed from the sea.
Because for every mangrove planted, we remove 1 kg of plastic. This provides additional employment opportunities and protects the mangrove forests from pollution.

Thailand
In Thailand, we are creating forests for one of the largest and smartest animals in the world: the elephant. Not only have they won the heart of our CEO Chris by storm, they are also true environmental and climate protectors.

These near-natural forests are not only home to elephants, of course, but also to many other rare and endangered animal species, such as tigers, leopards and the Asian golden cat. So the 442 trees are in really good hands here!

Ghana
The absolute hit in the last quarter was our project in Ghana. This also has to do with the fact that many of our partners plant there. They particularly like the fact that the planting here is based on syntropic agriculture and that an entrepreneurial school is also co-financed.
On the one hand, local people can even harvest fruit in the forest in this way and, on the other, young people are given the opportunity to acquire new knowledge.
