Since the start of the collaboration in 2024, the hotel has been able to save considerable resources thanks to the innovative “Trees instead of housekeeping” service.
This strategy not only offers environmental benefits, but also improves the efficiency of hotel operations while creating a more conscious guest experience.

Situated in an attractive area directly on the seawall, the hotel offers its guests not only comfortable accommodation, but also access to first-class amenities.
By implementing sustainable practices, such as the cooperation with Click A Tree, Das Donners demonstrates its commitment to environmental protection and social responsibility.
Since the start of the collaboration with Click A Tree in early 2024, Das Donners has already planted over 2,700 trees in Ghana.

Guests are free to choose whether they want to make a sustainable commitment – either directly at check-in or conveniently via the Suitepad in their room.
In addition, conference participants also have the opportunity to plant one tree per participant. The organizer will then receive a personalized certificate for each participant.

By dispensing with housekeeping services, Das Donners saves considerable resources.
In addition to reducing the use of cleaning agents and saving time for the hotel team, it is possible to devote more time to looking after guests or to implement a detailed cleaning strategy for care and maintenance.
The hotel communicates its collaboration with Click A Tree with flyers from Green Housekeeping and suite pads in the rooms or via the display in the hotel lobby. This makes their commitment visible and guests can participate.
