A sustainable success story

The St. Ottilien forest restaurant has been in existence for 500 years and is not only a popular destination for people in Freiburg. The restaurant has been a Click A Tree cooperation partner since 2020. The media became aware of the successful partnership right at the beginning of the collaboration and reported on the sustainable commitment of the traditional company. Guests give consistently positive feedback for the sustainable monthly dish. Some visitors come every month just to try the new Green Gastro dish, giving a big boost to sales.

What we have achieved together is impressive:

Over 4,000 trees have been planted to date, with more than 1,800 trees planted in 2023 alone.

These fantastic figures underline the great partnership that really benefits everyone.

The economic added value: attracting and retaining guests through green gastro dishes

Visitors to the St. Ottilien forest restaurant have the opportunity to enjoy a vegetarian or vegan dish that changes every month. This means that one tree is planted in Ghana for every order of this meal.

Positive media attention & economic benefits of tree planting

Guest loyalty: Guests visit the restaurant regularly because of this dish and thus become regulars
