Starting in 2024, you can also plant trees in Germany. Germany’s forests need just as much support and care as the forests in our other project countries.

Thanks to sustainable management practices, Germany’s forested area has steadily increased since World War II, despite intensive economic use.
According to the 2023 Forest Condition Survey by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL)¹, only one in five trees in Germany are healthy.
In other words, four out of five trees are unhealthy.
