On October 24, 2026, Click A Tree and the Waldfreunde will team up to attempt to set an official world record: how many different nationalities can we bring together at the same time to plant trees?
- The event will take place in the Eulerwald in Dietzenbach (Offenbach district), starting at 10 a.m.
- Individuals and companies are welcome to participate
- Participation is free, and meals will be provided.

Working Together for the World Record
Two renowned tree-planting organizations, Click A Tree and the Waldfreunde, are teaming up for this world record attempt.
The goal: to bring together as many different nationalities as possible to plant trees.
After all, environmental protection is a global challenge that knows no national borders.
To achieve this goal, people from 67 different countries must come together on October 24 to plant trees.
The current record of 66 nationalities was set in Qatar in 2021.
Facts about the 2026 "Planting Trees Together" world record attempt:
- Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at 10 a.m.
- Location: Eulerwald, Dietzenbach (Offenbach District)
- Parking: Waldstraße 92, 63128 Dietzenbach
- Patron: Dr. Dieter Lang, Mayor of Dietzenbach
- Cost: None. Participation, food, and drinks are free.
- What to bring: ID (Important for the official evaluation of the record!). Also sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing. Equipment such as shovels, saplings, etc. will be provided on site.
- Sponsorship: The event is funded through sponsorship from various companies. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please feel free to contact us.
About the World Record Attempt
The attempt will be conducted in accordance with the criteria of the Record Institute for Germany (RID) and will be reviewed and officially certified after the event based on the documentation.
About the Waldfreunde: The Waldfreunde are reforesting damaged forests in the region, including the Eulerwald in Dietzenbach, which was damaged by the 2019 storm. Learn more at waldfreunde.info.
