• Clients and business partners: deductible as business expenses up to €50 per recipient and fiscal year (Section 4 (5) sentence 1 no. 1 EStG). The €50 is a tax-free limit.
• Employees, without a special occasion: non-cash benefits up to €50 gross per month are exempt from income tax and social security (Section 8 (2) sentence 11 EStG).
• Employees, personal occasion: gifts for birthdays, weddings, or work anniversaries up to €60 gross.
